In the past week John McCain and Barack Obama have released various campaign ads. Both candidates have been churning out stupid attack ads and have focused very little on the issues. Only 1 or 2 of the ads this week have actually delt with the issues. McCain's ads always try to show Obama as being inexperienced and not able to lead while Obama focuses on McCain being "out of touch" with the middle class.

Awesome collection of videos! I heard on the news that there was an attack ad from Obama that was making fun of McCain's inability to use a computer. It was pretty embarassing when they found out that he couldn't raise his arms to type because of injuries sustained in vietnam. Talk about putting your foot in your mouth!
Most research studies indicate that attack ads are actually a less powerful influence of votes than positive ads. When politicians begin to sling mud, I think of the anti-bullying rules in elementary schools throughout the nation. Perhaps politicians need to return to kindergarten to relearn how to resolve conflicts and differences in a more constructive manner. Or, maybe they need a time out.
